Last Friday two colleagues and walked down the street to eat lunch at our favorite Hunan Restaurant. I wrote about this restaurant a few years back in a post titled "Micro-HOT."
When we arrived at the restaurant we discovered this scene — the parents (and baby daughter) of the restaurant owner were sitting outside preparing a new shipment of red hot chili peppers. Talk about a pile of peppers!!!
We asked them how long it would take them to cook through these peppers.
"About a week," they replied!
