There are now signs up all over my housing estate (15 20-story towers) saying that residents may not set off fireworks inside the compound. They must take their rockets and bombs and set them off outside of either the north or south gates.
Yeah, right. I'm guessing that this notice will be just as effective as the one in the lobby that says "don't park your bicycles here" which can no longer be seen because all the bicycles are in the way….
Or the 'no smoking' signs in restaurants that can't be seen through the blue haze of smoke.
