One of the things I dislike about this time of year is family members asking the dreaded question: "So, what do you want for Christmas?"
I'm just not into Christmas presents, so I usually just mutter something about an Amazon Gift Card.
But this year I had a different answer. "All I want for Christmas," I told my mom and sister, is a carry-on suitcase." Not just any carry-on suitcase, but a certain one in a certain color. My travelling companion on the journey to South Africa in October had one, and my reaction upon seeing it was "I've got to get me one of those."
I know it's slightly sick to just want a suitcase for Christmas, but given my lifestyle, there's also something slightly sensible about it.
I wonder if it will fit under the tree…..
