I’ve discovered something in the past few days. When you tell someone that you are going to Utah for a week, you get some very funny looks!
Never mind….that’s where I’m heading tomorrow, to explore the national parks across the southern half of the state with a friend and her just-graduated-from-high-school son.

hi cous….so glad you have a chance to do this. we have done it twice, and it is a fabulous trip. on mom’s side, we know our people came in the wagon trains of 1852 and 53. i stood in the actual ruts, still quite visible in several places, outside baker city, or. the inner strength of such folk….you will see that in utah, too. blessings!
