We are in the upswing from nearly 2 weeks of what I like to call “stupid cold” here in Minnesota. That means 116 hours of below zero (F) temps (not even close to a record, though).
Some people put on extra extra layers and try to get outside to do fun stuff, but for the rest of us, there reaches a point when it is just too cold. I ventured out for a walk last week, foolishly thinking the sun would be warm enough to make it bearable, but I only lasted 10 minutes.
For those of you down south this week who are getting a taste of life in Minnesota (except our infrastructure is built for these temps), I offer this doxology….
And as they say in China, “wear more clothes!”
