Today’s video is a “re-run” from a year ago. Gracie’s gallbladder decided to act up this past week, landing her in the hospital. 2 “procedures” and an operation later, she is doing well. She has told every doctor and nurse that has cared for her that she expects to be recovered in time for her 95th birthday party later this month. Speaking of which, here’s more information about that party:

Help Gracie celebrate this important milestone. The event will be simple. Come anytime between 3 and 5. Stay as long (or as short as you want). Say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Gracie, and grab some cake and snacks. And a party with and for Gracie would not be complete without some hymn-singing! Also, we would like for her to receive 95 birthday cards. Email me if you would like her mailing address. Prizes will be given for the 1st and the 95th cards received!
In the meantime, of course, we are grateful that she was able to get treated quickly and successfully. Please continue to pray for a smooth and strong recovery. It’s been quite a week, but she hopes to back at the piano soon!
Now, back to the hymns. This video is from March 28, 2021. The songs are: O The Deep Deep Love of Jesus, Jesus Paid it All, and There is a Redeemer.

O, THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE OF JESUS by S. Trevor Francis
1 O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free,
rolling as a mighty ocean
in its fullness over me.
Underneath me, all around me,
is the current of thy love;
leading onward, leading homeward,
to thy glorious rest above.
2 O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
Spread his praise from shore to shore;
how he loveth, ever loveth,
changeth never, nevermore;
how he watches o’er his loved ones,
died to call them all his own;
how for them he intercedeth,
watcheth o’er them from the throne.
3 O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
Love of ev’ry love the best:
’tis an ocean vast of blessing,
’tis a haven sweet of rest.
O the deep, deep love of Jesus!
‘Tis a heav’n of heav’ns to me;
and it lifts me up to glory,
for it lifts me up to thee.
JESUS PAID IT ALL, by Elvina M. Hall
1 I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small,
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”
Refrain:
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
2 Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow’r and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone. [Refrain]
3 For nothing good have I
Where-by Thy grace to claim;
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb. [Refrain]
4 And when, before the throne,
I stand in Him complete,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
My lips shall still repeat. [Refrain]
THERE IS A REDEEMER, by Melody Green
There is a redeemer
Jesus, God’s own son
Precious lamb of God, Messiah
Holy one
Jesus my redeemer
Name above all names
Precious lamb of God, Messiah
Oh, for sinners slain.
Thank you oh my father
For giving us your son
And leaving your spirit
‘Til the work on earth is done.
When I stand in glory
I will see his face
And there I’ll serve my king forever
In that holy place.
Thank you oh my father
For giving us your son
And leaving your spirit
‘Til the work on earth is done.
There is a redeemer
Jesus, God’s own son
Precious lamb of God, Messiah
Holy one.
Thank you oh my father
For giving us your son
And leaving your spirit
‘Til the work on earth is done.
And leaving your spirit
‘Till the work on earth is done.
