Just finished my breakfast toast. Thinking about how our British friends can elevate toast to the perfect snack to go with a “cuppa”. Reminded of our very early days in Karachi — tea with Vicar Ross Tully at Holy Trinity. It usually included toast — sometimes with butter and a sliced cucumber. I wonder if Ross and Kay might be serving proper tea in heaven now. Now I think I should have another piece of toast. “Your Mum”
